Welcome to the DMU MC Website. This site should provide you with information about our club and climbing as a general sport. If you haven't tried it before, now's the time, as rock climbing is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, and anyone of [almost] any age or build can have a go. It essentially combines skills of balance, strength and problem solving [along with a bit of nerve] So if you fancy a go yourself, then we're the club to join! Where do we climb? Charles Keene every Thursday. Most people meet at 6:30pm outside the student union to walk there. Tuesdays are normally at the Tower , although transport is limited, so ask a current member if you are interested.We have additional weekend trips throughout the semester. All you need is tight fitting trainers / rock boots & some fairly flexible but not too loose clothing. ...oh, and don't forget the beer money for afterwards.
